The following are the key elements of coaching competencies. Getting Things Started One of the main competencies is to start the task that is assigned by the sponsors or owners of an organization. It is the crucial element to hire a coach who is expert in providing effective solutions and results to the organization. The employees of the organization are required to act as followers of the coach who is assigned to lead the team and set the direction towards success (Peltier, 2011).
